The around 575-acre Buckley Homestead is a living history farm that has been in the care of Lake County Parks since 1983. There are live animals throughout the park, an old-fashioned schoolhouse, and the 100+ year-old Buckley Barn earns the entire homestead a spot on the National Register of Historic Places.
